About

A small toolkit for a specific annoyance

FinovoCalc builds single-purpose, free web tools. This corner of the site is dedicated to subtitle files — the kind of small, recurring problem that doesn't deserve a full editor install.

Why subtitle tools

Anyone who watches foreign-language film, translates content, or edits video for an international audience eventually runs into the same three problems: a subtitle track that's out of sync, a file in the wrong format for their player, or two language files that need to become one. These aren't hard problems, but the usual fix involves opening a heavyweight video editor or subtitle authoring tool just to change a handful of numbers. FinovoCalc exists to skip that step.

How the tools work

Each tool reads the timing and text out of your uploaded file, applies exactly one transformation — a timing shift, a format change, or a merge — and rebuilds a downloadable file. There's no AI guesswork involved: the underlying logic is straightforward parsing and formatting, which is also why the tools are fast and don't need an account or a paid API to run.

What we don't do

We don't store your files, ask for an email address, or put a watermark on anything you download. The site is supported by advertising rather than subscriptions, which is why you might see ad placements alongside the tools — the tools themselves stay free and unlimited.
